Jorja Emerson was born in 2016 with a rare chromosome abnormality which meant she suffered devastating seizures. But her life was changed when she obtained medicinal cannabis through a private healthcare company after struggling to get a prescription on the NHS.
Jersey says no to decriminalising cannabis
In the past week, it was voted that cannabis would not be decriminalised in Jersey, meaning that medical cannabis can continue to be prescribed to those who qualify and really need it.
Isle of Man pharmacies get the go ahead to supply medicinal cannabis.
An unrestricted number of pharmacies have been able to apply for a licence this week, the service opening the doors for patients who would usually have to obtain prescriptions from private clinics in the UK.
