Join us for the third annual Medicann 5K: Your Way — a much-loved community event returning on Sunday 1st February 2026, just ahead of World Cancer Day (4 February).
Celebrating strength, solidarity, and community spirit, the event invites Islanders of all ages and abilities to walk, run, or cycle a scenic 5km coastal route while raising vital funds for ABC Jersey.
Now in its third year, the Medicann 5K has grown into a powerful community tradition. Since launching in 2024, participants have collectively raised over £10,000 for local causes — with more than £5,000 raised each year.
The event was originally co-led by the late Rose Shepherd, a Medicann patient and cancer thriver whose positivity and courage helped shape the Medicann 5K. Rose’s legacy continues to inspire the event, with participants taking part each year in her memory.
This year, all funds raised will support ABC Jersey, a local organisation offering essential help to those affected by cancer.
Sarah Burns, Ambassador for ABC Jersey, shared:
“We are so grateful to be part of the Medicann 5K once again… bringing the community together to raise awareness and vital funds ahead of World Cancer Day — and to do so in memory of Rose makes it even more meaningful.”
