Medicann Patient Spotlight: Nathan Davies’ Journey with Medicinal Cannabis

For years, living with keratoconus meant dealing with shaking eyes, difficulty focusing and frequent headaches, making everyday life incredibly challenging. What struggles have you experienced with your condition?

I've struggled with shaking eyes that make it difficult to focus, along with headaches, for years. These symptoms made everyday life incredibly difficult and had a huge impact on how I felt day to day.

How has medicinal cannabis helped you, versus traditional medication?

Before becoming a medicinal cannabis patient, I was prescribed lots of different painkillers and anti-inflammatory tablets. I was taking boxes and boxes of medication every week, but they weren't really giving me the relief I needed.

Since becoming a Medicann patient, I no longer require the huge number of tablets I was previously taking. Having access to a range of prescribed medicinal cannabis products has given me an option that works better for me.

How did you feel when you didn't get the help you needed traditionally?

Taking so many tablets started to cause problems with my gut, while not really addressing the issues I was experiencing.

It was incredibly difficult emotionally too. I was depressed for years about the whole situation and constantly wondered, "Is this my life forever?"

I first learned about medicinal cannabis through social media adverts. I decided to look into it further and explore whether it could be an option for me.
